Capturing the magic of AURORA, the more intimate PRELUDE: A Preview of AURORA 2017 — A FREE PUBLIC ART EVENT THROUGHOUT THE AT&T PERFORMING ARTS CENTER CAMPUS —  will remind you of what you loved about AURORA’s past and ignite your anticipation for what’s to come next year.   For one long night, the Dallas Arts District Dallas is transformed into an open-air, urban  playground of contemporary art on an expansive scale. Presented by Aurora’s founders – in a new partnership with the nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center – this immersive, free and public exhibition will showcase work by local and international artists, selected by a team of renowned curators. In an unforgettable night, visitors experience their familiar urban environment as it is converted into an interactive canvas for some of the world’s most innovative contemporary art.  Featuring 10 massive art installations of light, video and sound from around the world,PRELUDE takes place on the AT&T Performing Arts Center campus on October 21 and 22, 2016, from 8 p.m. until midnight.
