Looking for free shredding in Dallas? Texas Health Resources and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen are joining with Shred-it to provide a free, environmentally-friendly document-shredding service to local communities in support of Earth Day on Friday, April 22. Texas Health hospitals in 12 North Texas communities will also host a shredding event on Saturday, April 23 to enable local residents to dispose of household documents in a secure manner and at the same time recycle 100 percent of the shredded paper.
A bonded representative will also set up and operate a mobile shredding unit in the hospitals’ parking lots from 9 a.m. to noon April 23. Local residents can bring up to five average-size file boxes of paper documents per household to be securely shredded and recycled. Metal clips and staples do not need to be removed, but cardboard and other heavy paper materials cannot be accepted. Texas Health Presbyterian Allen is at 1105 North Central Expressway North.
